About Our Treatments
Before we outline what you can expect from your non-ablative laser treatment, let’s take a closer look at some of the skin concerns we can help treat.
Hyperpigmentation Treatment
We use a laser resurfacing technique to reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation with both ablative and non-ablative lasers. We’ll discuss what method may be better for you during your consultation.
Vein Treatment
We treat spider veins and a range of other vascular lesions using a non-ablative laser, which radiates energy into the targeted vein. The blood inside the vein absorbs the energy and turns into heat, which damages the walls of the vein. The damage causes the vein to seal and collapse, rerouting blood flow through nearby veins.
Eventually, your body reabsorbs the collapsed vein the same way it heals from a bruise.
Rosacea Treatment
We can recommend rosacea treatments for you, depending on the severity and where it’s located. Typically, we use a non-ablative laser to diminish the appearance of blood vessels.
Acne Treatment
We treat both active acne and acne scarring. For active acne, we use a laser to selectively target overactive sebaceous glands. The laser radiates energy to the optimal depth of the skin, where it damages the targeted sebaceous glands with heat. The same heat energy stimulates collagen and elastin production, which helps your skin heal faster and smoother.
We can use the same laser for acne scar revision. By beaming energy into the scarred tissue, we increase collagen and elastin production for a smoother skin texture. The laser also gently vaporizes the micro-thin layers of acne-damaged skin. What’s left is healthy, undamaged skin.
